Based on this highly acclaimed recording, the Vivaldi’s Ring of Mystery theatrical symphony concert is an imaginative way to introduce young audiences and their families to the life and music of Antonio Vivaldi in a live. Antonio Lucio Vivaldi started his career in music by becoming a violin teacher at an orphanage for girls in Venice called ‘Ospedaledella Pieta’ in 1703. He composed a large number of pieces for the female ensemble consisting of girls at this orphanage during this time.

Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741) Italian Baroque Era Composer Antonio Vivaldi was born on March 4, 1678 in Venice, Italy. Antonio's father, Giovanni Battista, a barber before becoming a violinist, taught young Antonio to play the violin and then toured Venice playing the violin with him. At the age of 15, Antonio began training to become a priest.
